If you're in Chicago, particularly the downtown area, here's a spot that you might want to check out. New Line Tavern is a black-owned bar in the West Slough. I recently attended their creator brunch where they were giving tastings of their new brunch menu. And out of all the things that I had there, I would say that the hot honey catfish and grits and the shrimp and grits were definitely my favorite. That hot honey sauce that they put on the catfish was so delicious. And the grits just by themselves, very flavorful. They were also featuring two drinks. This is the bourbon peach smash and girl. I'm sorry. They definitely did not skimp on the liquor. And the Hugo Spritz, I definitely enjoyed that one. They had such a great atmosphere going with the DJ playing all our favorite hip-hop and R&B songs. They have a really big bar in here with plenty of seating and TVs everywhere. would be a really great place to come and watch a game or maybe a fight night. Our waitress was such a sweetheart. She brought us out this beautiful dessert. Thank you so much New Line Tavern for having me.
