When I booked this Intrepid trip to Spain, I thought I knew what I was getting into. Big sights, big energy, maybe a few churros. But Intrepid really said, let's do this properly like the locals do. First off, they organized absolutely everything, from exploring the Alhambra to walking through the Moss Cathedral in Cordoba, tasting fresh olive oil in the countryside, and standing under the stained glass of the Sagrada Familia like a full-on art history girly. The best part of the whole thing is I didn't have to plan any of it. I didn't have to stress over tickets, transport, or directions, just vibes, history, and a lot of, wow, I can't believe I'm actually here. Plus, because it was a small group trip, I felt super safe the whole time, but still had plenty of my own downtime to do my own thing, whether it was journaling, napping, or just exploring the city on my own. I saw Spain, but with Intrepid, I felt like I actually got to experience it the way locals do. It was really a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They had local guides meet us in absolutely every single stop that we made. We did walking tours where the different guides told us about the rich history of Spain and how it came to be. 10 out of 10. Cannot wait to go again.
