@lostintravel's Review of K'Far - New York City, NY

This was one of my favorite breakfast spots, so I needed to come back for lunch. Let me tell you why. Absolutely fell in love with breakfast here at Mike Salmonov's Gaffar a few months ago, so I needed to come back to have some lunch too. Here's what I ordered. Started with the peach ricotta kubana. The bread is so soft, a little sweet, like almost like a French toast toast. Also went savory with their smoked trout, which just gives... me all the old Jewish grandparents feels. This crispy shiitake mushroom hummus was perfection. So creamy, and the shirmala added such a nice pop of freshness. This Tunisian salad I could eat every single day. Like, please deliver it to me. Love that it had canned tuna along with seared tuna in it. And you can't leave without a sweet, so of course got a pistachio sticky bun. breakfast was still being served also so like absolutely recommend those jerusalem bagels as well
