RYE by MARTIN AUER in New York

The video opens with a close-up of a chrome toaster with copies of 'The Catcher in the Rye' book standing in the slots. A hand reaches in to take a slice of toast topped with cream cheese and jam from the toaster's crumb tray. The scene then cuts to a man wearing a cap and gloves arranging large loaves of artisanal bread on a wooden counter. The final shot pans across a wall decorated with numerous round, patterned bread-like objects, with the man and another person visible in the background.
