Have you been to Yashijang in San Francisco yet? If you're craving something bold, rich, and seriously unforgettable, this place needs to be on your list. The late-night Korean itsakaya is where traditional meets creative comfort food and every dish brings the heat. We got a bunch of things to share and I want to highlight some of my favorites. We started with the Stairway to Heaven, 12 beautifully crafted pieces of nigiri that lived up to the name. The Puljokbal was another standout. The spicy marinated pig's feet was rich, flavorful, and fall-off. And the truffle posat fry was another one I highly recommend. Crispy mushrooms tossed in truffle salt. Earthy, light, and totally addictive. Make sure to order some chicken as well. The K-fry chicken was juicy and crunchy. I love the seasoning in the batter. Another option would be their buldak and corn cheese, which hit the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. Yashjang is more than just a meal. It's a late night cozy food experience. So grab your friends, bring your appetite and raise a glass to a night well spent. You won't regret it.
