i'm finally back home from alaska but i have to tell you about this incredible hotel i stayed in in downtown anchorage it's called the aviator hotel you might have seen it down there but they are rebranding and going through an amazing transformation and i got to be there for the middle of it less than a month their name will be changing to wild birch they've taken their very no frills simple design and made a gorgeous urban wild theme in every room it was rustic comfort meets downtown life sorry about my mess i was running around but what a coffee nook not just a coffee nook but a full breakfast nook can you believe it Moki and here's where I fudged up on this video in that little bag you'll see in the photo on that table in the breakfast nook had a cute letter signed wild birch that's when I started putting the pieces together what's happening in this hotel and what's happening is a major upgrade it's obvious when you visit the lobby coffee slash gift shop amazing gifts for your family real cool Alaska stuff it's not like you'll see in most hotels where there's just an old bag of ruffles and a lean cuisine you can heat up it's real Alaskan stuff and very thoughtful honestly just really unique stuff and the most exciting part is the restaurant that's coming soon it's called Crimson it's a Latin Alaskan inspired restaurant it's the perfect taste combo unexpected yet familiar every dish is going to be a balance of bold flavors and comforting tradition and you bet your when I'm back in July I will be going here immediately whether you're checking Alaska off your bucket list or you're a local who needs a place to put your bougie outside family members and they come to visit you, I cannot recommend this place enough.
