The moment I walked through the doors of the Virgin Hotel here in London, I knew this stay was going to hit differently. Checking into my room felt like a complete reset. They've got this retro idea and the whole layout just feels like a modern apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The spaces downstairs completely hooked me. I stumbled down into this hidden listening lounge packed with vintage vinyl, massive wood speakers, and just an incredible atmosphere to escape the London rush for a bit. Then you take the lift up to the roof. Total contrast. The rooftop bar has an open deck, live DJ spinning, and panoramic views of the city skyline. Sitting out here with your chosen drink under the flowers while the sun is trying to break through. It's exactly the vibe I wanted for this trip.
