Aladdin on Broadway is such a great show for families. For the adults it gives us a sense of nostalgia and brings us back to our childhood since many of us did watch the movie and the cartoon series while growing up and for the kids it can be a new and exciting storyline that they might not be familiar with and it gives them a great experience firsthand. My family and I did see Aladdin on Broadway around the holidays and we had such a great time. Now since we were coming from Long Island we did not want to drive into the city so we took the long island railroad to penn station and luckily the new amsterdam theater is only a short walk from penn station and for anyone who's planning to see a broadway show around the holiday season meaning between thanksgiving and new year's make sure you're booking your tickets way in advance it gets super difficult to get good seats when you wait last minute to book your tickets especially for a weekend show now as far as what you can expect at the theater the show is approximately two and a half hours long but there is an intermission so you do get a break in between so you can get up stretch your legs use the restroom and stock up on snacks if you need to there is also a bar so adults can order alcoholic beverages including aladdin signature drinks now i did order the desert bloom and truthfully it was okay at best if i had to rate it i would give it a six out of ten i really could have passed on considering how expensive that drink was. Now as for the show itself it was definitely a 10 out of 10 experience. Between the costumes, the singing, the dancing, the cast and crew did not disappoint. And of course they had all of the classic Aladdin songs as well which was so fun to experience firsthand. So if you are planning to see a show on Broadway anytime soon I definitely recommend considering Aladdin as it is a show that both shows adults alike can enjoy.
