B.O.B. alert, black owned business alert. The Duplex is a fantastic restaurant to visit when you're in Chicago. They've got happy hour, daily specials, and serve brunch every day. We started off with the tuna tartare as an appetizer. It was really good and refreshing to start off our meal. The surf and turf was excellent. The New York strip steak and the tiger shrimp combo was great. And the Gruyere potato pudding was amazing. I was in the mood for a lobster roll, so I ended up ordering that and it didn't not disappoint. The fries were fire too. The duplex has a rotating menu so when you come you'll be sure to try something new. The chocolate tart was surprisingly good to finish out our visit.
