Did y'all know about this rated number one hidden city patio in Chicago? It's here at Bolo Wine Bar in Roscoe Village. You can get your own cozy cabana and there are even cabana happy hour specials. The specials include getting oysters for a dollar, happy hour toast for four dollars, wine on tap for six dollars, the limoncello fish shots are only two bucks and it's three dollars off of their flat grains. From the regular menu, the spicy chicken yakitori was full of flavor and definitely came with with the heat. But pairing it with the pickled vegetable coconut aioli balanced it out perfectly. Their beef tenderloin and its presentation was on point. It was almost too pretty to eat and the salmon came on a celery radicchio salad that paired well with the teasers. I really love how the managing partner John selects the wine menu himself. He curates it all on his own and that's why it's one of the top rated wine lists in the city of Chicago. And with the menu being seasonally influence, there is always something new to try. A Volo wine bar is definitely a beautiful gym that you must visit.
