Opened in 2019 right across from their popular restaurant, which opened in 2016, this cool little bakery offers a hip New York take on Taiwanese cuisine, serving up the advent of pastries, coffee, sandwiches, and unique breakfast creations. Today, I'm trying their viral bacon egg and cheese on a scallion pancake. This innovative sandwich elevates a traditional bodega sandwich with a perfectly scrambled egg and crunchy bacon on a crispy, perfectly cooked scallion pancake. The ginger deluxe sauce added a kick to the sandwich that was perfect. Of course, I couldn't leave without getting a sweet treat. The custard toast had a perfectly crunchy outside with the buttery and sesame custard inside. This place offers a perfect pairing of Taiwanese and American cuisine.
