Hey Chicago, come with me to Storyville for dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday. This was my first time in the downstairs of Storyville and it is so difficult to get a decent picture of the aesthetic. Okay, so the okra is fire and honestly it's better than churches. The catfish nuggets were good but they were a little too salty. The avocado bruschetta was okay but I feel like they used that spreadable avocado from the grocery store. The southern redfish and the pasta were delicious as well as the red beans and rice. But if you don't eat pork, don't get the red beans and rice. Now this banana's pasta was nasty. It tastes like the Laffy Taffy banana flavor and it was disgusting. And then the lady didn't make it any better by pouring it like that. But y'all, my friend was so cute. Happy birthday to her.
