A week ago, I found myself healing my inner child at Wonderland Dreams. It's a magical, immersive, hand-painted experience by artist Alexa Mead that gives the illusion that we're living in a 2D painting. And I mean literally in the painting. Everything you could have imagined about entering the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland is quite literally at your fingertips. And although there were tons of kids here, I promise this felt like a playground for adults. Like, this was definitely for us. As adults we can become so jaded and we're the ones who often need reminders that it's okay to just simply exist in joy. And that is exactly what my best friend and I found ourselves doing throughout the entire space. And if I had to say my favorite part, it would absolutely be this room. These glasses changed my life. Just watch. Putting them on was like experiencing the greatest trip of my life. like a natural high i never knew i needed i love them so much i kept them on for the duration of my time there and i allow the joy to overcome me and just help me manifest the things that i want in my life things like my holistic wellness house ajah ele coming in 2024 or even my continued friendship with my best friend of 25 years both being double earth signs with a strong gemini presence sometimes our stubbornness can get in the way of our ability to just play. And although the inner child in us absolutely thrived in this place, I'm almost sad to think that if it wasn't for editorial, we wouldn't have made it here alone. Honestly, the reason that we were all here is because of Tori. Now, unless you're new here, y'all know I love me some Tori. Her journaling events always forces me to dig deep in ways that I may not have wanted, but absolutely needed. If it's one thing Tori's gonna do is show up for our mental health. So much so, there was even... a therapist to lead us through a meditation at the end and when i tell you tears were shed i mean what do you think inspired me to scream at the ocean
