Is it possible for a meal to change your favorite cuisine? Because this restaurant came very close to doing that for me. I checked out their Restaurant Week menu, which started with a roasted squash soup, followed by a rigatoni alla vodka, and lastly a mango passion fruit sorbet. I'm talking about Alla Vida in Chicago. This beautifully styled restaurant is worth every single penny. If you missed out their Restaurant Week, don't worry, you can still make a reservation for their Valentine's event.
