This one surprised me, precise and quietly formal. Nonstop Sushi and Sake Bar in Marina Del Rey. Order the Garlic Salmon Roll. Good move if you want range, bright and easy going. Sushi Jen in Little Tokyo. Do not skip the Sea Urchin Uni Nigiri. Not the classic move, deeply traditional and direct. Okay. Kabata Jinya on 3rd Street came through with the sushi spread. Look at that nigiri line up salmon, tuna, scallop, and uni, then the camera slides over to two packed rolls with ginger right in the middle. Seriously, that overhead reveal is so clean.
