Did you know that in the heart of Edinburgh, at the top of the iconic Victoria Street, you'll find the Virgin Hotel. This chic, stylish, but laid back space was the perfect place for me to spend a Saturday afternoon. It's filled with some really cool design features and lots of little trinkets that nod back to Edinburgh's history. were in for lunch so we headed downstairs to Eve, the Italian bar and restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. Just like the rest of the UK, Edinburgh has really been feeling the heat which means it's time for a cocktail. I'm a classic kind of guy so I took on an Aperol spritz while Callum went for one of their signature spritz offers, the Peachy Tea. but I couldn't resist stealing a little bit. What I didn't expect was the same thing to happen to me. Not only were the drinks delicious, but you can also grab a bargain here with two course lunches for just 20 pounds. Callum grabbed a salad and some pasta when I went for some pizza. I know everyone's going to be incredibly shocked at that. The sun wasn't out quite enough for us to enjoy the outside dining space, but I would definitely be back to enjoy some cocktails there with some friends. We headed upstairs to the cocktail bar at the Commons Club for a few more drinks before we headed out. The staff here couldn't have been more friendly and helping us find drinks that suited our tastes. Honestly, the service was exceptional. The vibes were beautiful. I will definitely be back to the Virgin Hotel.
