Melbourne. Sputino might translate to a small snack in Italian, but there is absolutely nothing small happening here. These panini are loaded, saucy and dangerously addictive. And while owner John may call himself the king of the panino, we all know Nards is the real panini queen. All made on custom ciabatta, the crispy chicken cottoletta completely stole the show. The slow-cooked palpette had me speaking with my hands, and the mortadella loaded with stracciatella is a must-eat classic. No need to choose a favourite when self-control left the table after the first bite. I promise.
