it was a farewell for now dinner at the aperture a local walnut hills restaurant that made my list after i read that chef and owner jordan anthony brown was named 2025 james beard said my finalist for emerging chef i knew i had to try it before he closed his doors for a little bit at the end of the year we were only able to get a late night reservation so unfortunately a few of the things that we wanted to try were 86 the substitute pork dish that they made for us was definitely so tender and juicy and dripping with flavor the meatballs were a little dry for me because i needed a little bit of extra sauce the carrots were charred and seasoned to perfection and definitely were the highlight for me definitely worth a try and i'm excited to see what the chef has for next year
