Vegas weather is feeling like hiking weather, so let's take a hike to Red Rug and into Calico Tanks. This hike I would rank medium to hard, depending on your experience in hiking, with a distance of 2.5 miles. The path starts smooth, and then there are signs along the hike to help you find the destination. And after walking for a mile or so, you will stumble upon some rocks to climb over. But man, if it's something about this hike that makes it unique, it's the amount of steps that it has, questioning if you even want to make it all the way up, but we do. so we keep on pushing. And once you see the big puddle, you know you're almost there. Just be careful as you pass this because you can easily slip, as I like to call this, the goat moment, because I literally felt like I was a goat trying to go through these mountains. But once you have surpassed this, the reward is amazing. You get to see such a nice view of the Las Vegas skyline, And once we were ready, we did it all back again, back to our cars.
