Have you been back to Loconda Wine Bar in Livermore yet? The food and vibe here is consistently spot on. If you haven't been here yet, you have to give them a try. Their drinks here are pretty and strong, so you're definitely bound to have a good time. They have a really adorable outdoor seating area, which is perfect for summer. We started with these jumbo prawns and the prawns were so succulent and look how big they were. We also got their lasagna. Their lasagna was hearty and the tomato sauce that it came in was so good. If Locanda Wine Bar sold this, I would definitely buy several jars. And this is the main event that I came for. I've never had pasta made from a cheese wheel, but I've always wanted to try it. It was very entertaining to watch the process from start to finish and totally worth the anticipation. The pasta was cooked autente, the creamy sauce that it was topped with was perfect, and the freshly fried panchale elevated the dish to a whole new level. I can't believe I've been going my entire life without eating pasta made in a cheese wheel. I've got to do this more often. And don't forget to save room for dessert. I've tried a few different things from Locondo Wine Bar and trust me this place is totally worth it.
