What if I told you I have found yet another amazing authentic Italian restaurant in Chicago? It's here at Sappori Trattoria where they are serving fresh traditional Italian food. This burrata platter is a perfect starter and I love the combination of different spreads. The calamari is perfectly fried and comes with a side of marinara and pepper. They have a fabulous cocktail list full of drinks from fruity to strong. This 10 ounce New York strip was simply divine and seasoned with City prime rub and I know for a fact that that rub from Second City itself is amazing. This gnocchi abrevido was heavenly. It came with chopped chicken breast, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and a basil pesto sauce. Their desserts? OMG! The cachoe pepe cheesecake was so good and it was caramelized at the table right in front of you. The chocolate cake was absolutely insane. It was so good, triple layered with chocolate ganache. Put this on your list of a must-try restaurants in Chicago.
