Mission San Gabriel is one of the missions that the Spanish use to settle California. This is the closest mission in LA and it's in pretty good shape considering how old it is. Interestingly, it's used actively by the Catholic Church and they actually have priests around here. There's an actual Catholic school and I think the get-in is a little expensive. over $15 which I think is more ridiculous but extremely historic in really good shape and a whole district built around this mission so it's not abandoned like a lot of them
