@charlasfoodies's Review of Animae - San Diego, CA

Anime, a really trendy Asian fusion restaurant found in downtown San Diego. And though the interior decor was really nice, it was their food that really satisfied the palate, especially through some of the more Filipino inspired dishes. We've had Filipino fusion before, but Anime did it well in paying homage to some of the dishes that I grew up loving, while adding a nice twist without changing the flavors too much. Even the signature beverages were really good. Overall, it was a really great experience here and I have to say that that Tomahawk Tocino was something else.
