@silversspots's Review of The Kitchen American Bistro - Chicago, IL

Recently, I checked out the Kitchen American Bistro in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. This restaurant was an American-style tapas restaurant, so we shared a bunch of different dishes. We got their burrata topped with this rich salsa verde, some delicious artichoke hearts, the savory cruller, which honestly I'd never had before and I wasn't a huge fan of, along with some beef tartare. And it was my second time having it, and I enjoyed the flavor, especially the capers. My favorite part of the meal was the mousse dome, which was a chocolate tahini mousse with black cocoa cake under a layer of chocolate. I took one bite of this rich and decadent dessert and wow, this topped off a very good meal. I can't wait to come back soon.
