Welcome to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The Grand Floridian has been home to the famous Lifeside Gingerbread House since 1999. Spectators come from near and far just to get a glimpse and take photos of this enormous sized gingerbread house. Absolutely free. The massive gingerbread house is 7 feet tall, 12 feet wide. So just what is this gingerbread house made of? Well, over a thousand pounds of honey, 140 pints of egg whites, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 700 pounds of chocolate, 800 pounds of flour, and 35 pounds of spices. There's even an actual bakery open daily from 9.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. where you can purchase sweet treats ranging from $4 up to $85. What do you think of this gingerbread house?
