I'm not sure if this is a hot take, but society's lack of empathy towards children baffles me. When a child cries, they're being annoying. When a child is angry, they're being annoying. When a child does anything that people view as negative, they're a nuisance. It annoys me so much when people go on and on about how we don't listen to the younger generation. then proceed to call the toddler who doesn't understand how to process their emotions undisciplined and idiotic.
