Today I'm going to show you how to brush your dog's teeth at home even if they're not used to it yet. I use a 360 finger toothbrush for dogs and I also have a three-sided toothbrush for dogs. If you don't have either one of those, you can always start with a soft cloth that you have at home. The goal here is to let your dog get used to your finger being close to their mouth. So for the first five days, all you're going to do is pour some water on every toothbrush that you use and you're going to slowly insert it into your dog's mouth. You're going to practice brushing gently on their top row and their bottom row for 10 seconds. it out instantly start giving your dog praise hug them pat their head rub their belly whatever you got to do just make it a positive moment then on day six we're going to go in we're going to add toothpaste doggy toothpaste the two that i use is one from dental fresh and the other one is from bark bright you don't need a lot of toothpaste just a little starting to add the toothpaste into your dog's toothbrush and then we're going to increase it to 15 seconds of brushing back and forth motion on the top row and then back and forth motion 15 seconds on the bottom row they're probably going to do little smacking noise because of the toothpaste that's in their mouth. But the goal here is for you to be consistent as the dog owner of letting your dog know I'm going to brush your teeth daily. This way you're going to prevent bad breath and any diseases that can be caused from not brushing your dog's teeth.
