Anse Marcel, my favorite beach in St. Martin. It's on the French side. I stayed on the Dutch side. But I rented a car because that's how you get to the good stuff. You do got to drive up some steep hills and narrow roads to get there. And if you get scared, do some push-ups and toughen up. You'll be fine. Because this beach is worth it. Ladies, isn't this the type of beach you want your man to take you to? And if your man doesn't know that, just tell him, stop expecting us to guess everything. There's a beach club there to rent chairs and umbrellas. a French restaurant where you can dine in, or they can bring the food straight to you on the beach. I got a mojito. I wanted to order five, but baby girl was there, so I had to be responsible. Got calamari with seaweed. Never had seaweed before. It had a light, salty taste, but I liked it. You picky eaters probably won't, though. This calamari, it wasn't fried. It was sautéed with olive oil, garlic, and parsley. Maybe that's a French thing. See, a lesson. You don't need to fry everything. I love this beach. My baby girl... There's a public section if you don't want to pay for the beach club too. Follow your boy for more.
