Have you been to Alila Ventana in Big Sur yet? Here's a few of the experiences we signed up for during our stay. We started with the Redwood hike which was free. It was about 35 minutes and pretty easy. We met up with Paul and got to explore the Redwood forest. Next was a dive in the hive which was $109 per person. I was so excited for this one. We suited up in full beekeeper gear and met with Chris who taught us about the importance of bees, collecting honey, and what it's really like to be a beekeeper. We got to sample some different kinds of honey and take home a little souvenir jar. Leathercrafting was another favorite, $129 per person. And we actually did this one with Paul again. They had templates to follow, but I went custom. I DIY'd a sunglass case. And last up was the Harvest and Share, another free activity. We picked fruits and veggies that get donated to the local community, fed some chickens, and even help collect eggs. Whether you're in the mood to chill or stay active, there's definitely plenty to do here.
