@beingmolina's Review of Franklin Social - New York City, NJ

For Valentine's Day this year, I took my friend Amanda to Franklin Social in Jersey City. It is so cute, so rustic, very woody, and just you feel like you're kind of going back in time a little bit. They were having a prefix. I wanted the filet mignon, but you had to like eat all of these things. And as you know, I'm post-bariatric, so it would have been a waste. This is their drink menu. Super cute, giving leather-bound book. The drinks are kind of fun, but I just went with a tequila gimlet. Amanda did have a cocktail, but she said it wasn't the best she's ever had. They do have wine and a very full drink menu. The menu looks like a newspaper, which is so cutesy. I got the ribeye, which was cooked well, but I don't know. It was a little weird. I got a side of mashed potatoes and Amanda got the scallops with risotto. The food took forever. I mean, they were busy. It was Valentine's Day. valentine's day oh she also got a side of fries but yeah the service was just really crazy i try not to judge a book uh like not a book i try not to judge a restaurant off of a holiday but we did mosey our way on up to their speakeasy which is actually an attic speakeasy so cute but a very strong aroma
