If you love tall sequoia trees, majestic waterfalls, and mysterious dark caves, then these next two national parks are definitely for you. It's Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park, and these two national parks can be done in exactly one day. I recommend starting with Foothills Visitor Center and then Tunnel Rock and taking pictures on top of this gorgeous view. Next, visit Hospital Rock and see the artwork from the Native Americans, then walk down to the creek where you can climb more rocks and enjoy the beautiful water. We even dipped our feet in and it was so cold. Make sure to be careful when entering the water because the currents can get pretty rough. While you're here, I recommend looking at the amphitheater overlook. It's part of your scenic drive and then also visit Moro Trail, but you do need to take a shuttle to get there. A lot of the trails that you will be doing at Sequoia National Park are actually fairly easy and so beautiful. And if you are hungry, you can visit Grant Grove Village. Now Kings Canyon is filled with beautiful waterfalls, but we went to Boyden Cavern, which was our highlight of the trip. This cavern does cost $20 per person, but it is so worth it. Here, a tour guide guides you through a dark cave, but warning, if you're tall, you are going to need to be squatting. The cavern is very quiet and peaceful and you get to hear these wonderful stories. They even have an option where you can visit and they completely turn off all the lights and all you have is a small flashlight. And then we ended our trip by visiting Rainbow Falls. So I highly recommend if you're going to Sequoia and Kings Canyon to get here very early so that you can see all of these wonderful attractions that I'll leave in the caption.
