This event is the best kept secret at Silver Dollar City and one of the main reasons I love my season pass. It's called Season Pass Holder Appreciation Days and it's something that most amusement parks don't offer. During the summer for a couple of weeks, they will have ERT which is exclusive ride time for season pass holders. They also do an exclusive pass holder saloon show as well as have discounts throughout the park on merch and food. In my experience, it means no lines. You can get through most of the park in an hour. This is literally what the midway looks like. Our first priority was to hit Wildfire since we didn't ride it the day before. You usually have to wait for that front row. We did not. In fact, we were the only two on the ride for our cycle. The busiest moment of our ERT was walking by apparently little Sebastian he lives on. We then got to see our favorite view, a zero minute wait for Outlaw Run, the RMC roller coaster. We're not even 15 minutes in, we've already rode two coasters. Our longest wait was Fire in the Hole, which was maybe 10 minutes. That's about as short of a wait you can ask for if you don't go straight to it. Then it was a walk-on for Thunderation. You can look at this train. There's maybe 10, 12 people on this ride. Four rides in it at 926. We had time to ride one more ride before the park even opened. A trip to Silver Dollar City is not complete without riding the flooded mine. No wait and they were letting you re-ride if you wanted to. Always a blast the flooded mine. Five rides in an hour and we could just go while everyone else rushed to rides. Our big purchase of the day is we purchased two of these little ghosts and a jack-o'-lantern. This is handmade pottery from the employees of Silver Dollar City. We love it. Then it was one final pit stop to get some cinnamon bread for the road. Thank you for your existing cinnamon bread and Clarabelle's. Everyone else is rubbing sleep out of their eye, getting ready to get some coffee for a big day. And we've had a full and relaxing day at Silver Dollar City in just two hours.
