Here's another free activity you can do with your toddler. Home Depot offers free kids workshops on the first Saturday of each month between 9am and 12pm. They provide all the materials your child would need, including an apron that they get to keep. I took my daughter and her godbrothers to the May workshop and we created a picture frame. It's a fun, bonding experience for the kids and the adults, and they get to build a different project every month. It's a wonderful way for kids to learn new skills and have fun. independently or together. The next workshop is happening this Saturday. It's first come first serve so make sure to arrive early. You can RSVP online but keep in mind that the RSVP does not secure your spot. At the end of the workshop each child receives a certificate of achievement and a special pin for their hard work.
