Another year and another Gainesville Chicken Festival has come and gone. But this year had to be the best yet. The best weather, the best people, and the best chicken that we've seen yet. The vibes really could not be more perfect. We started our day off by grabbing some merch at the stand. Then we immediately headed into loading up on chicken before the lines got too long. Big congratulations to the Gainesville Fire Department who won People's Choice and the Grand Champions. We ate so many good wings like this Asian glazed chicken wing. Then we even loaded up on some smoked chicken thighs, which were so, so juicy and tender. Matt's Chicks always comes through with the cornflake breaded chicken wings that are delicious. And I've heard they have some of the best chicken tenders you've ever had. The lines are always crazy, so you want to make sure you come early every year. We ate so much chicken that I even had to get a second bracelet. And of course you have to finish the day with an ice cream or a beer.
