@lolohstar's Review of Splat - Durban North

Come dine with me at Splat in Durban North. This new restaurant just opened its doors last week Monday and already was full to capacity with buzzing customers. The architecture and ceiling took about a month to complete and it's so worth it. Here's some shots of the menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and a whole lot of different cuisine. I actually highlighted some points later on in the video so you guys can have a look at it. But here's just an idea of what the menu looks like. All bacon is cooked separately and even stayed so on the menu which makes it a much friendlier place for Hindus and Muslims. The venue is decorated really well and gives off very metropolitan, cosmopolitan Johannesburg-Valnos Arch vibes which I loved. They also have these really cool magnetic things on the table to play with which my inner child just loved oh it was so fun our drinks came and i got a dirty chai latte here's some of the cool menu items like the breakfast global toasties they have a whole host of sharing snacks which i'd love to come and sit with friends with and try little bits of each the burgers looked amazing the rosemary ostrich is calling me and they also have whole lot of flatbreads which were really tempting they also serve sushi so talk about all in one we started with some chicken livers which were super super spicy but just the way we like them i got the chicken tandoori naan flatbread thing and it was super good and because i'm addicted to pasta we got a penne alfredo with smoked turkey which was flippin amazing chef rev was there as well as the owner chef neha and it was so fun to meet them and we also got some dessert a slice of chocolate cake okay but guys look at the tiny chappies that come with the bowl i just love that touch here i am struggling to open it with one hand and we all know we only got chappies to sit and read the inside with the did you know thing so here they are for you guys definitely such a cute little spot and i can't wait to be back with friends and family
