Today, we're trying azuki in San Diego, California. Man, were we blown away. We started with their oysters. For those that have been following for a bit, you know I keep a ranking of all the oysters I've ever tried, and this one has knocked number one out of first place. Even Nadia tried it, making it her first oyster ever, and she liked it. Then, we got the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The crispy rice was done so nicely, probably one of, if not the best crispy rice I've tried for this dish. It was a little too spicy for Nadia, but she liked it, so she just kept eating it. Next. We moved on to the rolls. We got the, are you kidding me roll? And now I know where it got its name from because are you kidding me? So delicious with the fried onions to compliment the fresh fish. The super dragon had a fried sweet potato on top, which was a unique add. This was third place of the three rolls, but still pretty damn good. And finally, the star of the evening, the Kobe roll. We didn't even read it had A5 Miyazaki Wagyu on it until we finished it. This one blew our minds. 11 out of 10. So, so. Good. Would come back just for that role.
