Monarch Ski Resort, located at 23715 W. Hwy 50 in Chaffee, Colorado, has been a family-friendly ski destination since 1966. The resort covers 800 acres of varied terrain, with 54 trails and four terrain parks to accommodate all levels of skiers and snowboarders. There's a dedicated area for beginners, as well as advanced runs that reach a peak elevation of 11,700 feet. The town of Salida is just a short drive away, giving visitors access to local dining and shopping options.
