About the venue
Nakamura Tokichi, established over 160 years ago in Uji, specializes in matcha-based desserts, attracting both locals and tourists alike. The tea house offers a serene atmosphere with traditional Japanese decor, seating about 30 guests. Highlights on the menu include matcha parfait and soba soak in matcha cold tea. It's also the only place in the city where you can experience the tea-making process firsthand.
