Creole House Restaurant and Oyster Bar near Canal Street. Start with the gumbo. Good move if you want range. Classic busy Creole room. Coquette on Magazine Street. Go for the Beef Carpaccio. This one surprised me. Intimate, serious dining room. Nice Guy's Nola on Earhart Boulevard. Go for Nice Guy's Chicken and Waffles. Not the classic move, playful late brunch energy.
