But that's when something went wild. People took notice, took action, cleaned up the waterways of the bald eagle's fish, and stopped using a chemical pesticide DET, major cause of this and many other birds to climb. And it was people, like all of us here today, working together to save the bald eagle from the brink of extinction. and everyone's efforts paid off all the Eagles numbers rose they rose so high
