Explored Pasadena, so definitely had to check out cheesesteaks by Matu and Hi Ho for the Smashburgers. The cheesesteaks was born out of an overwhelming guest demand for the cheesesteaks served at Matu in Beverly Hills. So they brought the best beef in the world, bringing in the same obsession and commitment for a more casual format. For me, being the East Coast, I thought the cheesesteak was okay. I mean, more bread to meat ratio, and it wasn't flavored as I would have liked it. The Hi Ho cheeseburger was also okay for the most part. Nothing to brag about, but worth checking out.
