This is easily the most unusual but delicious dish you will see on your feed today. Welcome to Shanghai Family in Tottenham Court Road. The restaurant deck, the decor was comforting and rustic and we managed to get some exclusive footage with the chef preparing their specialty Shanghainese dish, deep fried sea bass, pine nuts and sweetened sour sauce. Oh my god, this was absolutely amazing. The preparation of this dish was world class and you can tell the chef really understands how to put this together. Just look at that red gooey sauce whilst maintaining its crunchy exterior. Definitely a highlight. Moving on to more Shanghainese staple dishes Handmade soup dumplings, perfectly delicate Pan fried pork buns with a crunchy bottom and a juicy filling Pan fried to perfection, an absolute must This scallion noodles with braised pork belly, eh, it could be skipped Overall, if you want real Shanghainese cuisine, we'd recommend this spot Tommy was happy
