I partnered with Carolina Ale House because everyone needs happy hour at 3 p.m. And with the World Cup around the corner, it's important to have your next watch party location in your pocket. We arrived at 3 p.m., so it was happy hour, which meant $5 margaritas and $5 onion dip. And several other $5 to make you holler options. I saw espresso martini on the regular menu, so clearly I was all over that. With such a diverse menu, we decided to taste its range and began with a hearty cup of loaded chili. And a colorful Cobb salad covered meticulously with a rainbow of goodies and grilled chicken. We also added a side of blackened salmon for good measure. Of course, chicken wings are the law at any sports bar, so we opted for the dry-rubbed grilled ones. And don't sleep on their homemade ranch. It's seriously drinkable. If there's a Smashburger, we're on it. This one came with their famous beer-battered fries. Finally, their Carolina combo with ribs and steak and a side Caesar upgrade to, of course, Healthify. And because adult-rated slushies are my guilty pleasure, we closed with a frozen strawberry vodka cocktail for dessert. Everything was very shareable, and yes, there were leftovers for days.
