If you're visiting Taichung, Umai BBQ House is definitely one of the hottest and most popular. BBQ spots in the city, and now I understand why. We ordered the set for three people, and with service charge, it came out to around end $4,000. But honestly, the portion was huge, easily enough for four people. From the moment you walk in, the service already stands out. The staff are incredibly attentive, constantly checking in, helping with grilling, and making sure everything is perfect. This is Taiwanese hospitality at its best. The meats are fresh, high quality, and beautifully presented. And every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. One thing I really loved, they offer unlimited warm chicken soup.
