@ashleyulife's Review of Benny and mary’s - Irvine

After one dining experience at Benny and Mary's in urban California, I can say this has become one of my new favorite restaurants. The location is kind of interesting. You're just in the middle of a bunch of really tall industrial buildings, but once you go inside, you are transported. The vibe in here is so fun. It's a little bit dark, a little bit moody. I mean, just look at it. I am obsessed. Now places could have cool vibes, but do their drinks and their food match up? Abso-freaking-lutely. They do. I got a dirty martini and they had hand stuffed blue cheese olives, which if you know, you know. My husband got this crazy s'mores cocktail, which was super fun. And I was so excited that there was four of us because that means you get to try more food. We got three appetizers. These bao things were amazing. That was a pork belly and these were garlic shrimp. So good. And of course I had to get another cocktail and I will never not boo me. You can't stop me. And the main courses did not disappoint this Chilean sea bass. It makes me want to cry thinking about it. I ate the entire plate. It was, I don't even, I can't even tell you it was the best thing I've ever had. And the dessert did not disappoint. This is a must try restaurant. Highly recommend.
