This weekend, we were invited to the grand opening of Dame's Kitchen, a family-owned Jamaican takeout spot in Belleville, New Jersey. Hi, welcome to Dame's Kitchen. We specialize in the best jerk you're going to get in the Northeast. We also have amazing brisket, mac and cheese. Check us out, we're 500 Portland Street in Belleville. It's our grand opening. Happy to have you here. Everyone, come through. We decided to get the jerk chicken combo with rice and peas and mac and cheese, as well as our whiting combo with cabbage and potato salad. The jerk chicken itself had so much flavor, especially with the homemade barbecue sauce, and I loved the mac and cheese. It was incredibly cheesy, and the rice and peas were also really good. But the whiting was definitely my favorite dish of the day. It was crispy, seasoned, and it reminded me of my grandma's fried fish. The cabbage was fresh and lightly seasoned, but the potato salad was my all-time favorite side dish of the day. The portions were huge, so we ended up digging the rice. rest of it home before getting the itis. You can find Dame's Kitchen at 500 Courtland Street in Belleville, New Jersey, and you can order takeout or delivery through multiple delivery chains. Stop by, try them out, and tell them Deny sent you.
