Ooh, you know it's gonna be good with ooh, it's food. Today we're visiting Aladdin's Cafe in North Portland. It's a family-owned spot specializing in Syrian, Lebanese, and Mediterranean cuisine. It felt super warm and welcoming the second that we walked in, so everything from their hummus to their desserts are made in-house every day. During our visit, we got to try their veggie masa sampler, and then for drinks, we got their mint lemonade and strawberry rose water, which was really refreshing and unique. Then onto our mains, we got their garlic feta fries and the combo kebab plate, which was pretty solid. The chicken was tender and juicy while the beef was flavorful. For dessert, we had their baklava and freshly poured Moroccan hot tea and it was the perfect way to end their meal. So thank you Aladdin's Cafe for being so kind and walking us through each plate. I'm so glad that I got to try some new flavors and experience the behind the scenes look of Aladdin's Cafe.
