You can create your own rug at Artisan's Playhouse, which is located in Hialeah. I went to their intro to rug tufting class, which was only $75. They start off by going over some safety and then the basics on how to create your rug. After that, you go to your work area, trace your design, and get to working. They currently only book by appointments, which fill up very fast. The class takes about three hours, and they do provide the basic yarn colors for you to use, but you can also bring your own. Once you finish your rug, you are going to have to come back another day to wrap up your rug and then take it home. In the comments tag someone who needs to try this with you.
