Okay, we are at the Sonoma Community Center where they do all kinds of educational classes, host events, always something happening here, whether you want to take a pottery class or a cooking class, a knitting class, a dance class. Look, there's a essential knife skills for teens, all kinds of different things. a great platform for learning as well as just community driven. This is one of their rooms. They have quite a few rooms. They have a theater. They do live shows. This is kind of the kitchen and some of the teachers. This is what we're featuring today. Authentic Three Course Vietnamese Meal. Lisa Lavangeto who does local cooking classes. kinds of cool stuff. This is the rotary kitchen and really cool. Got a great space. So we are all set up for the Vietnamese cooking class. So we're going to do a three course. We're going to do fresh rice noodle spring rolls. So we have all our essentials. Thai basil, daikon, carrots, cabbage, limes, green onions, napa cabbage. I'm going to show them how to make a great chicken stock for pho which essentially we roast a bunch of things and you get this beautiful clear chicken stock which has got a really rich depth and flavors because it's been roasted with the bones so yeah some other essentials we got our vermicelli rice noodles our rice papers the noodles itself for the pho All the essentials. So we got fish sauce, sweet chili glaze, sambal. I made a homemade nakacham, which is essentially like a pepper water, which is essentially vinegar, shallots, red jalapenos. This is awesome for your pho or accoutrements or really anything. So got some crispy shallots. And what's most... cool about this class is the bowls were all made in the pottery shop on site and so they get to choose the bowl of their liking for their buff so pretty cool stuff beautiful stuff actually nice glazes different colors and then of course we've got the selection of wine beer or waters so i think we're pretty set we're going to get rolling here soon happy sunday
