Lopez is back and better than before. Rebranded as Lopez 44, it's still serving up delicious Mexican cuisine, but now includes specialty Tex-Mex dishes. We kicked off with the salsa flight, inclusive of three different sauces, with our favorite being the black bean and corn salsa. For dinner, we ordered the Bronzino Veracruz, Enchilada Suiza with chicken, and barbecue ribs. As someone who never orders ribs, these were tender and delicious. I will say this is a true Tex-Mex dish, so if you don't enjoy spice, ask for the sauce on the side. The enchilada suiza is listed as the chef's favorite and was amazing. For our dessert, we tried the Mexican baked hot chocolate, which was pretty good. However, it's very rich and I would only recommend for true chocolate lovers.
